Stand just behind the torii gate at the summit and shoot towards the sea for the iconic 'Torii in the Sky' shot. Early morning gives the best light with fewer people.

Whether hiking up the 1,300+ stone steps or walking from the parking area, the path is steep and uneven. Sneakers or hiking shoes are essential.
