Marugame Castle's stone walls reach up to 60 meters high — the tallest in Japan. The four-tiered walls are a masterpiece of construction, with each layer using different techniques.
The three-story wooden keep stands just 15 meters tall. Despite its small size, it offers panoramic views of the Sanuki Plain and the Seto Inland Sea from the top floor.
